Steve Sewell Races to Success with Astec Precision Sponsorship
You may remember back in February we announced Astec Precision was sponsoring a young SRS Road Race Team motorbike rider called Steve Sewell. We’re delighted to share this recent update from him:
With a bit of a rocky start to the year we are now underway with some promising results.
In the Wirral 100 lightweight class we have achieved multiple podiums, putting us 1st in the championship standings so far.
This class offers very close racing, a favourite with spectators as there is always good competition between riders.
The start of the year for the 650 Supertwin provided us with some teething issues but we are now over the gearbox failure we suffered so we can get back to business!
Our focus now is to try maintain an advantage with Wirral 100 in the lightweight 500 class, whilst putting time into rider development on the Supertwin.
Then to apply ourselves to Scarbrough’s road racing championship with a respectful steady away approach as there is no room for error.
